Insurance

The organisers cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to the private property of participants and accompanying persons which may occur either during or arising from the symposium. Participants should therefore take whatever steps they consider necessary regarding insurance.

Lunch

Lunch will be available in the restaurant at the Congress Center Dresden. Lunch is included in the registration fee from Monday till Wednesday.

Important Travel Information

Closing weekends in June 2007

ATTENTION: Dresden Airport will be reconstructing and extending its runway during full operation. Only in June 2007, the runway must be closed on four weekends.

The runway will be closed on the following days:

8 June 2007, 15:00 hrs, to 11 June 2007, 7:00 hrs

15 June 2007, 15:00 hrs, to 18 June 2007, 7:00 hrs

22 June 2007, 15:00 hrs, to 25 June 2007, 7:00 hrs

29 June 2007, 15:00 hrs, to 2 July 2007, 7:00 hrs

A number of flights will be redirected to/from Leipzig/Halle Airport. This will affect flights to/from

Frankfurt (Lufthansa), Munich (Lufthansa), Dusseldorf (Lufthansa), Stuttgart (Germanwings), Cologne/Bonn (Germanwings), Vienna (Austrian Airlines) and

London-Gatwick (British Airways).

Passengers booked on these flights can take advantage of a shuttle bus service to and from Leipzig/Halle (two hours to Dresden). 
 

If you have questions about the flights to the above mentioned destinations, please consult your travel agency or airline office.

The shuttle bus timetables are also available from your travel agency or airline office.

Please note that there will be no early check-in for Monday flights on Sundays when the runway is closed for reconstruction (concerns flights on 11, 18, 25 June and 2 July).

Train to Dresden

Berlin-Schönefeld Airport
EasyJet is serving Berlin-Schönefeld Airport from many destinations in Europen. A train needs 3 h from the airport to Dresden main railway station.

Schließungswochenenden im Juni 2007

ACHTUNG: Der Flughafen Dresden saniert und verlängert derzeit seine Start- und Landebahn bei laufendem Betrieb. Nur im Juni 2007 muss der Flugbetrieb an vier Wochenenden ruhen.

Die Schließung der Start- und Landebahn betrifft folgende Zeiträume:

8. Juni 2007, 15 Uhr, bis 11. Juni 2007, 7 Uhr

15. Juni 2007, 15 Uhr, bis 18. Juni 2007, 7 Uhr

22. Juni 2007, 15 Uhr, bis 25. Juni 2007, 7 Uhr

29. Juni 2007, 15 Uhr, bis 2. Juli 2007, 7 Uhr

Mehrere Starts und Landungen werden auf den Flughafen Leipzig/Halle verlegt. Das betrifft Flüge von und nach

Frankfurt am Main (Lufthansa), München (Lufthansa), Düsseldorf (Lufthansa), Stuttgart (Germanwings), Köln/Bonn (Germanwings), Wien (Austrian Airlines) und

London-Gatwick (British Airways).

Für die Passagiere dieser Flüge werden Bus-Shuttles von und nach Leipzig/Halle eingesetzt (2 Stunden nach Dresden).

Bei Fragen zu Flügen in die oben genannten Städte wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihr Reisebüro oder die Fluggesellschaften.

Auch die Abfahrts- und Ankunftszeiten der Busse erfahren Sie von Ihrem Reisebüro und den Airlines.

An den Sonntagen, an denen der Flughafen wegen der Landebahnsanierung geschlossen ist, wird kein Vorabend-Check-in für die Flüge an den darauffolgenden Montagen (11.6., 18.6., 25.6., 2.7.) angeboten.

Zugfahrt nach Dresden
